Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama asked medical device to be submitted through e-catalogue. It is concerning the city will need more medical devices in future.

“Medical device is supposedly included in e-catalogue. Because this is very complicated, where so many items in it. There are also many officials out there that named as a suspect over procurement of medical device,” he expressed, on the sidelines of 2015 national working meeting (Rakernas) of Electronic Goods and Services Procurement System Agency (LPSE) at Sudirman Hall, South Jakarta, Tuesday afternoon (11/10).

Ahok admitted, the devices procurement through tender system is very complicated. Through E-C atalogue what government should do is choose the good according to the needs.

“Lift procurement for instance, that’s so complicated to many items. That’s why, we wanna submit it into e-catalogue concerning we will add more 1,400 beds this year,” he disclosed.

The additional is intended to support Type D Hospital program against dozens of community health center that must be equipped with inpatient facility.
